POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and implement the best quality process and practice for developments, maintain monitor and ensure highest quality in services of the plant. The position integrates EHS&Q into the company’s standard business practices and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will maintain and improve upon the Quality Assurance (QA) function to ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications, facilitating the implementation of QA best practices within the organization. This position is also responsible for company personnel in safe and proper application of EHS&Q activities and techniques, and for monitoring and periodically auditing the various departments to assist in raising EHS&Q awareness and compliance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and implement programs to train facility staff in work site quality practices.
- Compile and submit reports required by regulatory agencies and corporate personnel.
- Act as the subject matter expert regarding quality and governmental regulations for the plant.
- Develop and implement Quality plans, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, regional, and national laws and regulations, including document control of DDCC Library and certification attainment.
- Test plan and checklist based on project specifications.
- Perform quality audits per the required schedule.
- Monitor and record all site/ plant activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.
- Carry out audits for ISO 9001 and recommend the necessary corrective action and measures.
- Monitor and control all nonconformance issues and undertake remedial action.
- Ensure safety is adhered to at the site /plant.
- Support management and staff with QA services, as requested.
- Develop and provide training QA related topics and assists the resolutions of quality related problems.
- Plans and performs quality control inspections.
- Review procurement documents to ensure appropriate quality controls are specified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- A University graduate with major in Chemistry, Mechanical or other technical.
- At least 5 years current experience within an oil/gas or thermoelectric facility and have a thorough demonstrated working knowledge Quality programs, including: lockout / tag out, personal protection, return to work, document management.
- Possess advanced level communications skills in English (written and verbal) and be computer literate. Able to communicate using advanced vocabularies.
- Certified Test Engineer (CSTE).
