Celebrating 40 years of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20 Nov 1982 – 20 Nov 2022), Vung Ang II Thermal Power LLC has donated 15 sets of computers with peripherals, 15 sets of tables, 30 sets of chairs, and other electrical devices for the IT classroom in Trinh Loi Secondary School.
Based on VAPCO’s survey, VAPCO found the necessity and urgency to provide these IT facilities for the school to secure enough level of education for the students in the IT class.
Representatives of Ky Loi Commune People’s Committee, the school’s principal, and all the students expressed their gratitude for receiving VAPCO’s support: “This is a wonderful support as the school has admired for a long time, and that now comes true. We commit to use, and operate the equipment effectively in the teaching and to learn for students.”
On behalf of VAPCO, Mr. Katahira, Project Coordination Manager, said: “VAPCO is always interested in supporting local people through our CSR programs with a priority on the community in proximity of the Project. Education is one of our top priorities for support as young students are the country’s future.”
VAPCO hopes it will help students and teachers in Trinh Loi school to increase the IT learning quality and enhance students’ capacity in preparation for future job seeking in the long term.
