In commemoration of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27 July 2026), Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company Limited (VAPCO) carried out meaningful community activities to express gratitude to policy beneficiary families and strengthen its connection with local communities.
In Vung Ang Ward, VAPCO collaborated with local authorities to organize a visit and present gifts to 30 policy beneficiaries. While modest in value, the gifts reflected the Company’s care, appreciation, and gratitude towards individuals and families who have made significant contributions and sacrifices for the country.
At the same time, VAPCO, in coordination with local authorities and the Youth Union organizations in Song Tri Ward, supported the organization of a Candlelight Tribute Ceremony at the local martyrs’ cemetery. The Company sponsored materials and supplies to help make the ceremony more solemn and meaningful, creating an opportunity for residents to pay their respects and express heartfelt gratitude to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and development.
These activities provided an opportunity to strengthen communication, mutual understanding, and cooperation between the Company and local stakeholders, while reaffirming VAPCO’s long-term commitment to supporting the sustainable development of the communities surrounding its operations.
Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, VAPCO continues to contribute positively to local socio-economic development and foster strong partnerships with neighboring communities. The Company firmly believes that sustainable business growth goes hand in hand with the prosperity and well-being of the communities where it operates.
