This is the second year that VAPCO scholarship project is taken place. This year, we have increased the number of scholarships to a total of 147, and students with excellent learning results got more valued slots as an encouragement for those having prominent efforts and talents beyond their harsh circumstances.
Those awardees locate in 4 project affected communes/ wards that are learning in 5 schools in Ky Anh Town from primary to high schools including Ky Anh high school, Le Quang Chi high school, Ky Long secondary school, Trinh Loi secondary school and Ky Loi primary school.
On 11 January 2023, the scholarship awarding ceremony was organized in Trinh Loi secondary school in Ky Trinh ward. Mr. Jaeha Kim- Project Director as representative of VAPCO and Mr. Nguyen Van Chung- Vice Chairman of Ky Anh Town’s People Committee, Mr. Duong Tri- Head of Ky Anh Town’s DOLISA as representative of local authorities as well as teachers and students and Company staffs attended this memorial event. This reveals the interest of VAPCO and local authorities in supporting education in the area.
