On March 20, 2023, VAPCO in collaboration with the Youth Union of Ky Loi commune organized the 3rd Beach clean-up event. This event was organized with the participation of more than 100 students from Ky Loi secondary school, Ky Loi commune Youth Union, soldiers, Port Authority and project related workers collecting garbage at the beach of Hai Thanh village, Ky Loi commune, Ky Anh town, and VAPCO donated 10 garbage boxes for Hai Thanh village. From the Project side, employees of VAPCO, Doosan, Pacific constructors, and subcontractors attended the event.
This is periodically program aiming to remind the spirit of environmental protection and raise awareness through garbage collecting and proper waste management from beaches, rivers, lakes, forests, and streets. On the event, VAPCO also donated 10 trash bins to communities so that they could gather trash at designated areas, not to scatter on the roads.
