On June 1, 2024, Vung Ang II Thermal Power LLC in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town successfully organized the environmental event “EnviRUNmen – Running for the environment in 2024”
This is an event in response to the Month of Action for the Environment and the Vietnam Sea and Islands Week. The event was attended by leaders of the Department, Branches and People’s Committee of Ky Anh town along with nearly 500 athletes from VAPCO employees, contractors and local communities in Ky Anh town.
In this event, everyone overcame the challenge of completing 5km and enthusiastically responded to participate in cleaning up garbage at the sea in Ky Ninh. Vung Ang II Thermal Power Co., Ltd. also donated 50 garbage cans to communes and wards in the area.
