CSR: Mid-autumn festivals for children in Ky Anh - Công ty TNHH Nhiệt điện Vũng Áng II

VAPCO always concerns on surrounding communities and specially focus on vulnerable targets as children and the elderly. From that point, during the mid-autumn from 8 to 10 September 2022, VAPCO in collaboration with local authorities organized the mid-autumn festivals for children in 3 commune/ wards including Ky Loi, Ky Long and Ky Trinh as the Project affected areas of Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant Project.

The company granted 1211 moon cakes and packages of candies for the festivals held in public spots in 3 communes/ wards with the hope that all children will have a meaningful recreation event.

Furthermore, to help create an equivalent chance of enjoying the mid-autumn for all children, VAPCO paid special care on children with extreme difficulties. Totally, 211 vulnerable children having various difficult conditions such as orphans, children with disabilities, children of poor households were nominated by 3 above mentioned commune/ wards to receive VAPCO’s gifts in this occasion. The gifts were carefully chosen to suit with distinguished needs of children of different conditions such as learning materials, equipment and nutritious food.
