On the morning of February 27, 2024, Vung Ang II Thermal Power LLC and the People’s Committee of Ky Anh town together with local authorities and representatives held the “Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Clean Water System Construction for Hai Phong 1&2.
With the desire to share and support people in Hai Phong 1 & 2 village to access clean water, improve their health and serve local socio-economic development, Vung Ang II Thermal Power LLC has decided to finance the construction of this clean water system with the project scale as follows:
– Serving 446 households with 1,439 people in Hai Phong 1 village
– Serving 424 households with 1,474 people in Hai Phong 2 village
– Total pipe length: 7,582m
– Total sponsored budget: 2,166,930,000 (Two billion, one hundred sixty-six million, nine hundred and thirty dong)
– VAPCO sponsors capital financing, Ky Anh Town Management Board as the investor and project manager.
The project is self-managed by local authorities during the design, implementation and supervision and operation. The project helps improve people’s living standards.
