From the proposal of local people and the fact that the drainage system of Hai Phong 1 village is not functional resulting in domestic wastewater and rainwater being flooded or accumulating on the road surface, leading to unsanitary conditions along the village road. These two villages are currently in the relocation planning area, so the investment in infrastructure from the government budget is minimal.
Therefore, to handle the situation and ensure water drainage and road circulation, VAPCO has progressed the construction works including cutting chisel, demolishing the existing concrete, plastering drainage ditches, and constructing sewers across the road for water circulation.
After one month of construction, on July 18, 2023, VAPCO handed over this entire drainage system to Hai Phong 1 village for operation and maintenance.
