Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company Limited donates 214 Health insurance cards to disadvantaged households

On the morning of January 23, 2025, Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company Limited (VAPCO) donated health insurance (HI) cards to disadvantaged households and households whose land was acquired due to the project’s impact in Ky Loi Commune, Ky Trinh Ward, and Ky Long Ward. The program was carried out in collaboration with the Ky Anh Town Fatherland Front Committee, the Ky Anh Town Social Insurance Agency, and the Ky Loi Commune People’s Committee.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the Ky Anh Town Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Ky Anh Town Social Insurance Agency; the sponsor’s representative, Mr. Katahira (Minh), Project Coordination Manager of Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company Limited; leaders of Ky Loi Commune; and 214 households receiving health insurance cards in this round.

During the event, 214 health insurance cards worth 178.167 million VND, sponsored by VAPCO, were presented. This meaningful, practical, and humanitarian initiative, organized shortly before the Lunar New Year, aims to support those in particularly difficult circumstances by providing better access to healthcare services, reducing financial risks from illness, and improving their ability to maintain their health.
